Pierre Benichou
Executive Chairman
Pierre Benichou has over 50 years of experience in geophysics in Africa, North America and UK. He is a French citizen and holds a degree Chemical Engineering from Institut National des Sciences Appliquees Lyon. Pierre’s broad industry expertise has been key to the company's accomplishments. His development of strategic alliances with seismic contractors and host countries have led the company to continuing success. He worked with companies such as CGG and TGS, prior to co-founding Geoex MCG.
Pascal Lipsky
Managing Director
During the last 10 years, Pascal has spearheaded international growth strategies that have been fundamental in the continuing success of the company. He is a French citizen and holds a BSc from Harvey Mudd College, CA, USA. He has over 25 year of experience of experience with CGG, PGS and Terra Energy Services, prior to becoming a founding member of Geoex MCG.
Tom Wolden
CEO - Europe
Tom Wolden joined the company in January 2013. Tom is a Norwegian citizen, and holds an MSc of Geology from the University of Bergen. He has worked for several leading seismic service- and oil companies, such as COO and CEO for Interoil E&P, various managerial positions in PGS and as Geologist in Saga Petroleum.
Tor Åkermoen
COO - Europe
Tor Åkermoen joined the company in April 2008 as the Chief Executive Officer of MCG, until March 2014 when he took over the position of Chief Operating Officer. Tor is a Norwegian citizen, and holds an MSc of Geology from the University of Oslo. He has 25 years of experience from both the Oil & Gas and seismic industry with companies such as Conoco, Total, PGS and TGS, prior to joining the company.
